Interpipe NTRP, a producer of railway wheels under the KLW brand, received certificates for its European standards, meeting German railroads’ internal demands for the company’s machine finished railway wheels. By obtaining these certificates Interpipe can supply finished railway wheels under the KLW brand to one of the largest railway operators in Europe.

On October 21st Interpipe announced that it has started cold tests, in cooperation with general contractor DANIELI, at the new electric steel melting complex, Interpipe Steel. Interpipe Steel is the first metallurgical plant to be built in Ukraine in the last 40 years. The first testing stage of the new mill will last until the end of November, 2011.

Interpipe recently held the "KLW: innovative solutions for the railway industry" conference for its railway wheels and tires customers from Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the CIS countries.

Rail Technology Exhibition EXPO 1520 is an international event where the latest advances in equipment, technology, infrastructure, services and logistics of the railway industry are presented.

Interpipe NTRP, the producer of railway wheels under the KLW brand, has passed the audit for the Quality Management System meeting The Railway Industry Supplier Approval Scheme (RISAS) standards.
