Interpipe has announced the start of a program to recruit specialists for optimization of production using Interpipe's Continuous Improvement System (ICIS). Frank Rittner, Director of Strategy and Business Development, explains: 'ICIS is a unique system to increase production capacity and to reduce cost by constantly eliminating losses versus the so-called Technical Limit. ICIS combines specific developments of Interpipe's experts with elements of well-known international systems such as Six Sigma, TPS, Kaizen, and others.'
After its launch in 2008, ICIS involves now more than 2000 people in two plants, including coworkers at all levels from plant director to foremen and workers. Interpipe is now further rolling-out the system by hiring talented candidates.
Oksana Marina, Director for Human Resources at Interpipe says: ‘The selection of candidates for this important initiative will be conducted in several stages. The first stage will involve gathering and analyzing the returned application forms. The second stage will involve professional and psychological testing, specially developed by Interpipe. At the third stage there will be group exercises and individual interviews. The final stage is a trial period under the direction of our experts. Undoubtedly, the candidate that passes all stages will receive unique insight into Interpipe's Continuous Improvement System and will become a specialist in high demand for a wide range of tasks inside the business.’
Interpipe started to accept applications from candidates on February 18th. For more information please visit the Interpipe website.
