INTERPIPE
HEALTH & SAFETY

Ensuring the health, safety and well-being of our employees is a key priority for Interpipe. We are also determined to make Interpipe the most attractive place to work for all of our employees by providing training and career opportunities that ensure long-term development and progress.
As part of our commitment to Health & Safety, we have identified the hazards and risks associated with our activities and have invested substantial financial and organizational resources to minimize and eliminate these risks.

INVESTING IN OUR EMPLOYEES

We take great pride at Interpipe in our track record on health and safety issues.
Our production processes have stringent procedures in place and all of our employees undergo rigorous training in this area along with their annual medical check ups. Among other facilities, all of our mills have modern polyclinics on site and we continue to make substantial investments in the health and safety area.
We are also committed to supporting our employees in a number of additional ways:

• Training and education
• Policies and procedures
• Recruitment
• Career mapping
• Social activities

LOCAL COMMUNITIES

At Interpipe we support the local communities where we operate beyond simply providing employment. We do this through creating an open relationship with all citizens and hosting a range of community events.
In particular we are very conscious of the central role we play in the cities where our mills are located. We support these communities both through infrastructure projects, such as road building as well as organising other social events throughout the year. One particular highlight in the annual calendar is the concerts held around Metallurgist Day, attended by around 90,000 people every year.
